LinkingDanube deals with insufficient provision of cross-border traveller information on public transport, particularly considering cross-border commuting and mobility in rural areas. The overall project objective is to foster environmentally-friendly mobility options and balanced accessibility in the Danube Region through transnational, interoperable and multimodal journey planning in urban and rural areas. Currently no suitable multimodal, transnational system for travellers exists anywhere in Europe.

The HEXAA project includes a detailed study on present applications of Attribute Authorities (AA), and profound research on the legal and policy aspects. Realizing the problem of the limited attribute set that can be provided by real life Identity Providers a user-centric Attribute Authority is proposed. Based on this concept, a new Attribute Authorities implementation is to be developed which would facilitate AA integration into federations and eduGAIN.

Talent is a national treasure of Hungary, and talent support is a national issue; nevertheless, the knowledge of talented Hungarian young people and adults is utilised to a much lower degree than would be warranted by the interests of the country. The outstanding importance of talent support, however, is being given increasing attention nationally.

Videotorium is a video/audio sharing portal created for the players of research and education. Videotorium provides professional presentation of video content recorded at higher-education organisations, research institutions and public collections. Videotorium has been launched in June 2010 by the maintainer of the Hungarian research and education computer network infrastructure National Information Infrastructure Development (NIIF) Institute.

The project has two main goals. The first is the research on clouds as distributed computing systems and the second is to develop and to deploy an institutional cloud infrastructure based on the results of first goal that allows the significant improvement of the local IT infrastructure. This new cloud based infrastructure will be significantly more effective and more cost efficient than the former infrastructure built on traditional conceptions and individual specific servers.

MTMT (acronym for Storage for the Hungarian Scientific Publications), maintained and operated by the Hungarian Academy of Science is the official database containing information of scientific publications published by Hungarian scientists.

Consulting this database is an indispensable tool to assess the scientific performance of a scientific institution’s or that of a scientist’s.

MTA SZTAKI NSIT is maintaining and operating the servers providing the MTMT web services.

Development of an identity management system, which is strongly related to a system of a mobile operator; fully meets the requirements of data protection regulations, even force the usage of them, and demonstration of the operation in a standardized e-commerce experimental application environment.
The Authentication and Authorization Subsystem is based on the standards of Federative Identity Management (Liberty, and OASIS SAML).

The wide range of operational risks companies and organisations are exposed to, encompass risks stemming from wilful internal and external frauds, and other criminal acts as well as from deficiencies of internal procedures, weak control thereof and insufficient staff skill and experience. As a consequence of all these, companies (may) incur significant losses. One of the specific objectives of our project is the reduction/mitigation of operational risk in financial institutions.

This project aims at developing a prototype intelligent information system which allows doctors and nurses to have convenient access to patient data as well as to clinical guidelines specifying recommended actions to be taken in different clinical conditions. Patient data are stored in a multimedia medical record system organized around problems evolving and changing over time. Problem oriented medical records are linked to the patient follow up system containing information on cost and resource utilization associated with traumatology services.

A projekt célja olyan egységes azonosítási, jogosultság-kezelési és naplózó rendszer kifejlesztése és pilot keretében történő validálása, amely a hazai kutatói hálózatra csatlakozó szervezetek - felsőoktatási intézmények, kutatóintézetek és közgyűjtemények - számára biztosítja a védett webes erőforrások (alkalmazások, adatbázisok stb.) biztonságos és rugalmas megosztását egymás, illetve harmadik fél számára - hazai és nemzetközi viszonylatban egyaránt.
