MTA SZTAKI, EMI Laboratory has started a 24 month long, EUREKA  international  R&D&I cooperation project  under the acronym:  INTRO4.0 , on the 1st of April, 2016.  Due to the international EUREKA project class,  the national partners   prepare cooperation based  efforts,  in this case with the German KIT, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, which acts also as the coordinator.  Among the Hungarian partners, HEPENIX Research and Development Ltd. plays the national industrial coordinator’s role, and SZTAKI is the RTD   academic partner.

The German timeframe runs for 36 month, but has started a few months earlier than ours.

The German partners’ governmental contribution is significantly higher,   the Hungarian consortium could apply only for a limited, 70 million forint government grant.

The project INTRO4.0 aims to support the introduction of INDUSTRY4.0 technological solutions to industrial, production-oriented companies,   focusing on the SME’s specific requirements.  Based on the identification of the successful German technology-transfer and –introduction achievements, the Hungarian partners search for the specifics of national solutions. Both Hungarian project partners will define, develop, implement end evaluate two-two USE-CASES, which offer potential portability to further industrial, manufacturing-oriented firms.
