Gianfranco Pedone becomes full member of IFAC

Research fellow and IT engineer Gianfranco Pedone became a member of IFAC CC 5 - Cyber-Physical Manufacturing Enterprises cluster, "Integration and Interoperability of Enterprise Systems" Technical Committee (TC 5.3).

Pedone studied Information Technology and Management at the University of Studies in Lecce (Italy) where he graduated in IT engineering in 2004. He received a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 2012 from the Eötvös Lóránd University in Budapest, Hungary.

His main research interests include multi-agent systems, languages, cloud and web computing for semantic interoperability in scientific and business applications, and more recently cyber-physical system applications and interoperability in industrial architectures, as well as service oriented architectures for cross-sectorial, circular economy digital platforms.
