We support the Night of Museums by providing smart phone application again this year

The 15th Night of Museums is organised on 24th June this year which has become the most popular domestic event series for a long while. Across the country, more than 2000 events at some 380 locations vie for our attention. Its highlighted topic is preserving values and its capital is Debrecen this year. The eLearning Department of our institute supports the organisers and visitors by providing a smart phone application again this year.

The EVENT@HAND MUZEJ smart phone application developed by the eLearning Department of MTA SZTAKI is being introduced on the press conference of the event series on the 13th June again this year. The application can be considered as a variant of the Web page of the Night of Museums, which can be downloaded in advance, used offline and accessible.

The locations of the events can be presented on an interactive map and the built-in GPS supports the navigation to them. The schedule for the night can be set up with the help of the list of “Favourites” in advance. Notification can be set to the planned events by using the “Notification” service.
