István Varga
I received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in transportation engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BUTE), Budapest, Hungary, in 1997 and 2007, respectively.
I’m currently the Dean of the Faculty of Transportation Engineering and Vehicle Engineering of BUTE, and an Associate Professor with the Department of Control for Transportation and Vehicle Systems of BUTE. I also hold a Senior Research Fellow position with the Computer and Automation Research Institute, Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
My research interests include road traffic modeling, estimation, and control with applications in intelligent transportation systems.
I’m the member of the Hungarian Scientific Association for Transport and the Committee on Transport Engineering of Hungarian Academy of Sciences
