National television to report twice on the 5th AET Symposium at HUN-REN SZTAKI

In the two broadcasts presented in November, the head and deputy head of the Institute's Research Laboratory on Engineering & Management Intelligence, József Váncza and Gábor Erdős, were interviewed, as well as two guest speakers, Paul Shore and Peter De Wolf.

The programme, which aired on 6 November, also features HUN-REN SZTAKI’s Innovation and Demonstration Space, with the research showcased there, as well as the hardware history exhibition "From the Past to the Future". József Váncza talks about the potential of nanotechnology manufacturing, including applications in healthcare. Gábor Erdős will be interviewed about the importance of robotics and automation, and the importance and role of artificial intelligence and its role in the world.

The episode, which aired on 20 November, features two guest speakers, Paul Shore, Managing Director of Loxham Precision, and Peter De Wolf, Division Director of Bruker. Shore also discusses his role in the development of the James Webb space telescope, while De Wolf talks about the operation and usefulness of the atomic force microscope.
