The goal of the project was the development of a movie picture restoration system and workstation to allow high speed, complete, high-resolution digital restoration of film pictures and sound. The main goal is to save the pictures and sound of very bad physical status nitro-celluloid movies to safety film. The goal was achieved during the project works. In the frames of the project a complete, digital archive film restoration system was developed.

EU COST

HunTeka - awarded with a prestigious Hungarian prize - is a universal library automation system designed and developed in cooperation with a Hungarian SME, Monguz Kft. It is to satisfy the complex requirements of middle and large size libraries. Actually it is used in hundreds of Hungarian libraries all over in Hungary (and in Romania). Basic characteristics of HunTeka is its client-server architecture and a modular system structure. Modules available: Catalogue, Circulation, Web OPAC, Acquisition, Serials and the e-modul (JaDox).

Today the use of the internet is universal in most institutes. Therefore it is necessary to have a reliable and non stop available server. For a smaller firm it would be very expensive to set up an optimal site for a server, to connect to the internet, to provide a room with the required conditions, and to supervise the service 24 hours a day. We provide such a controlled, ready to use site where the servers of these firms can be placed and supervised.(Server Farms)

NKFP Széchenyi Project

A kisebb városi, községi, iskolai könyvtárak általában nem igénylik, anyagi okokból legtöbbször nem is engedhetik meg maguknak a komplex és drága könyvtári szoftvereket. A kis könyvtárak egy egyszerűen kezelhető, de azért korszerű, az Internet lehetőségeit is kihasználó, és legfőbbképpen elérhető árú könyvtári szoftverre vágynak. Ezt az igényt felismerve, az MTA SZTAKI - felhasználva a TINLIB és a QTÉKA honosítása és elterjesztése során felhalmozódott tapasztalatait - kifejlesztette a KisTéka elnevezésű szoftvert.
